I thought this quote was a beautiful reminder… if we go through life living each day in worry, fear or anxiety, that definitely makes our load (our jobs, our families, our social lives, etc), feel more like a burden than a blessing. And yet if we can learn to find some joy, some gratitude, some beauty in our days, it certainly lessens the other, less pleasant emotions, and reminds us just how wonderful our lives truly can be.

A Valentine’s Wish

Hi Everyone!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

I wrote the following poem as a symbol of my love and gratitude for each and every one of you, my readers. I am so honored and grateful to be journeying with you and for your presence in my life. I send you my heart-felt thanks, and lots of love, today and every day.

A Valentine’s Wish

May your heart beat wildly with happiness,
May your arms always have someone to hold,
May your voice ring out with rich laughter,
May your face hurt from smiling.

May your days overflow with bliss,
May prosperity and success enrich your life,
May your eyes be bright with joy,
May your thoughts be calm and serene.

May your spirit know the assurance that God loves you,
and that you are ever so beautiful, worthy, wonderful.

May you open to receive love,
Blessings,
Fulfillment,
Endless, glorious, fabulous possibilities.

May you remember your Divinity,
May you reach for your dreams,
May you touch all whom you meet with love.

Spring, as you know, is a period of much celebration and rejuvenation, as it is a time for rebirth.  Spring is a period in which you can create many new
exciting opportunities for yourself, and many miracles which will bless you throughout the coming seasons of this beautiful year!  In Spring, the trees
are budding, the grass springs up new fresh green shoots from the soil, the flowers begin to bud and bloom with gusto, and all is fresh and new.  I encourage
each of you to, like Mother Earth herself, acquire a fresh new perspective about life in general.  Rethink your life, for your thoughts, as I have said
before, have the power to change your world.  This is a wonderful time to shed old boundaries and reemerge more fully realized.  Hold your head high!
Rejoice in this moment of new beginnings!  Allow old burdens to fall away.  Feel lighter, brighter, shiny and bran new.  Just as the season of Spring has
come to parts of Mother Earth, allow Spring to come to your own heart and life as well.  Begin anew.  Start afresh.  See life for the wonder it truly is!
I wish you a day of new beginnings and much celebration!  I leave you with my eternal love.

Welcome to A Candle to Light your Way! Plus a Beautiful Affirmation to Start your Day out Great!

Welcome to my blog! Here you can enjoy tips for creating a more joyous, peaceful and prosperous life.

Let me begin by sharing an affirmation with you. Affirmations are powerful tools to use in shifting your life into something that more closely resembles your ideal reality. Before creating an affirmation, you must first create an intention.. that is, you must “intend” that this affirmation will integrate itself into your thought processes and become a BELIEF” for you! I will explain further about affirmations tomorrow. But for now, know that they are not as complex as they may sound, and they serve as very empowering tools. When I wake up each morning, I will affirm to myself aloud, “I will live today with passion and joy.” This is a beautiful and wonderful way to begin your day. It immediately sets a positive mood and gets you off on the right foot to create a wonderful day for yourself!

TOmorrow, I will explain more thoroughly about affirmations — why they work, how they work, and how you can allow them to begin working in your own life!
